We are always keen to provide the best possible service and to do this we continually check what we are doing, talk with our staff and with outsiders who have opportunities to see and judge our work, and above all listen to our customer. This process is called Quality Assurance. It involves:
• Being a member of UKHCA, enabling us to keep up to date with changes within the industry and recommended ways of improvement. • By operating a clear training program for staff members throughout the team and by ensuring that care staff know the standard of service they are required to provide. • Regular supervision meetings between each care worker and their line manager. • Requesting service users to complete an easy to use quality assurance questionnaire at 3 monthly intervals. • Careful checks on all service users files, timesheets and other records. In addition to these opportunities, please feel free to let us have your views at any time. We need to know how we are doing, and you are best placed to tell us. • Monitoring the service through the inspection process made by Commission of Social are Inspection and responding to new recommendations and requirements efficiently. • Welcoming the view and opinions of health professionals, community social and other care workers and acting upon observations made by them effectively. • Welcoming the quality assurance systems in place by Social Services and constructively working towards achieving any targets set by their inspection / regulation process. |
